frequently asked questions

How does PlastiClenze work?

PlastiClenze was formulated using the best available science to select ingredients found to bind micro- and nanoplastics. Meant to bind these microplastics, PlastiClenze, when taken daily, may prevent absorption into the body. PREVENTION, not detoxification.

Why were the ingredients chosen?

Activated charcoal (carbon) is known to bind toxins in the gastrointestinal tract and prevent their absorption into the body.

Grapefruit pectin was chosen over apple pectin because it has lower allergenic potential. Pectin is a dietary fiber found in fruits and vegetables. It does not get absorbed by the body but instead acts as an adsorbent, meaning it binds to toxins and other substances in the digestive tract, effectively preventing their absorption into the bloodstream. Thus pectin may aid in the removal of toxins from the body.

Psyllium does not directly absorb toxins. It functions by creating a gel-like substance in the digestive tract which binds to toxins and other waste products. This traps them and facilitates their elimination from the body through the stool, reducing the amount of toxins that can be absorbed into the bloodstream.

How do I take PlastiClenze?

Take 2 capsules once a day with a full glass of water.

Do not take other medications within 1 hour before or 2 hours after PlastiClenze.

What are the potential side effects?

Side effects tend to be mild and mainly involve gas, bloating, dark stools and stomach cramps.

Will my medications interact with pectin derived from grapefruit?

NO, medications do not interact with pectin derived from grapefruit. Medication interactions are limited to whole fruit and juice.

Where are your supplements manufactured?

Our supplements are manufactured in the United States at a Certified GMP facility. The ingredients are tested and certified prior to manufacturing. After manufacturing the final product is tested and a certificate of analysis is provided.
